Christian Writing Contest 2010

You may have noticed that the fee for 2010 is $15 but for 2009 it was only $10.

Well, 2009 was our first contest, so it was in part a learning experience.  One of the things we learned was that shipping more than 100 books, many of them internationally, is quite costly!  We also failed to take into account advertising expenses, printing expenses, and other unanticipated expenses.   These are the sort of mistakes you can afford to make once, but not twice.

The good news is that we think we’ve got it covered now and do not anticipate having to increase the submission fee in the future.

If you’re reading this before Sept. 15th, 2009, notice that we have an ‘early bird’ special to slightly ease the pain of the increase.
